1. Introduction

Welcome to the PSAC-AFPC Mobile Application (the "App"). By accessing or using our App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please review them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our App.

2. Definitions

"PSAC-AFPC": Refers to the Public Service Alliance of Canada (Alliance de la Fonction publique du Canada).

"User" or "You": Any member accessing or using the App.

"Content": All information, data, text, graphics, and other materials available through the App.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms applicable to specific features of the App. We may modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

4. Use of the App

Eligibility: The App is intended for use by PSAC-AFPC members and authorized users.

User Conduct: You agree to use the App responsibly and not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe upon the rights of others.
• Transmit any harmful or malicious content.
• Interfere with the App's operation or security.

5. User Accounts

Registration: Certain features may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership: All Content and materials within the App are the property of PSAC-AFPC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

License: PSAC-AFPC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

7. User-Generated Content

Responsibility: If you submit or post content within the App, you retain ownership of that content but grant PSAC-AFPC a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content.

Prohibited Content: You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by the PSAC Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

"As-Is" Basis: The App and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Limitation: PSAC-AFPC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

10. Termination

PSAC-AFPC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason deemed appropriate by PSAC-AFPC.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
